Though it all. Jesus and the Eunuch

Is 56:4 For thus says the Lord: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold fast My covenant, 5 Even to them I will give in My house And within My walls a place and a name Better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them[a] an everlasting name That shall not be cut off.

Have you ever wondered how many Eunuchs were there in the bible? Very few I would imagine in Israel in the days of Isaiah. In Jesus' time, the Jews had Eunuchs who were physically castrated, but also "born Eunuchs" who did not have an attraction to women naturally.

In Isa 56, Isaiah seem to have gone into the future to a time not only a salvation for Israel but a salavation for the entire gentiles. A special mention was made about Eunuchs despite them being few in numbers! Isaiah started in Isa 42:1, talking about Jesus, the bruised reed bringing forth justice for truth. He was to make right for the wrongs, hence judgement to the nation.

Why would Jesus bring judgement? because there could only be judgement if they had denied the Saviour. There would be justice because the unrighteous would not be allowed to continue to come against the weak, for Jesus will be their Saviour. There would not be judgement but righteousness for those who accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Starting, Isa 56:1, Isaiah declared "“Keep justice, and do righteousness, For My salvation is about to come, And My righteousness to be revealed. ".

How do we keep justice? surely not by the law but by abstaining from harm and protecting the weak! How do we do righteusness? by keeping ourselves clean from worshiping other gods and by our love for each other.

Noticed Isaiah did not say abide by the Ten Commadments, abide by the law for it did not work with Israel worshiping idols and pagan gods in the high places of spiritual altars.

Indeed for Israel, it was all over. They had received judgement by the law and they were going into exile.

Yet, God will send them in the future after the exile, a Messiah, who will deliver them into righteousness that they did not achieve through the law. He will not raise His voice against them in judgement throught law (Is 42:2) but will come with God's grace and mercy.

In Is 56:4, Isaiah saw into the future, Jesus proclaiming a new day for the Eunuchs. There weren't many that was physically castrated in the days of Isaiah but many more strangers!, yet Isaiah saw into the future, a group of people who cried out to God for they did not have an inheritance and a blessing.

They were suffering and perhaps many had lost everything in life as many gay people have in Asia today. Jesus saw the anguish and their lost. For they have lost the current, and the future. Their hopes dashed and inheritance lost.

I have always wandered why I had to suffer so much. Being gay has been a suffering and a life of pain, rejection, and sorrow. I am angry and disheartened of those that have caused injustice and unrighteousness, yet justice and righteousness does not come by making things right. (which is not possible since one person cannot come against the organised army of love Singapore). Only Jesus can bring justice and righteousness to a suffering gay tribe.

Through all my sufferings, perhaps I learn to know the bible, the Word of God, and I learn to know Jesus. It is easy to condemn, but it is difficult to live in the person's shoe.

Jesus came not to condemn the gay community, but to bring justice and righteousness, to give me a blessing in the House of God, in communion with Jesus bringing much more joy than even the inheritance of the world of children and wealth.

We have the march of gay marriage in the US and Europe, opposed by Christian Saints such as St. Lawrence Khong of FCBC in Singapore being the moral defender. Like the crusades, the church is heading for another lost. It doesn't really matter since so much harm and deaths have already been done.

We have gay marriages arising for Jesus is bring justice and righteousness into an unrighteous state. He is making right the wrongs, bringing justice to the wounded and the fallen, and jugdement to the wicked. Good news means little to dead skeletons.

There are many gay christians who walk aimlessly in the streets of heaven on earth, because their faith and hope in Jesus have been crushed by the stepping of the grapes by the mega church leaders and NCCS Singapore. There is a sense of lost, a life lost, and inheritance lost, a future lost. We are crushed.

Come to the table says the Lord, and eat in the midst of your enemies, for I will give you in My house And within My walls a place and a name Better than that of sons and daughters; I will give you an everlasting name That shall not be cut off, a name to know and be known by God. Through it all, I learn to know Jesus Christ.

 Through It All

I've had many tears and sorrows
I've had questions for tomorrow
There've been times I didn't know right from wrong
But in every situation
God gave blessed consolation
That my trials only come to make me strong

I've been a lot of places
And I've seen so many faces
But there've been times I've felt so all alone
But in that lonely hour
In that precious, lonely hour
Jesus let me know I was His own

Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to trust in Jesus
I've learned to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to depend upon His Word

So I thank God for the mountains
And I thank Him for the valleys
I thank Him for the storms He's brought me through
Cause if I never had a problem
I wouldn't know that He could solve them
I wouldn't know what faith in His Word could do
