John 5: 39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. 41 “I do not receive honor from men. 42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44 How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.

It was incredible to see that the Pope was well accepted at the UN and the joint US houses. He is not only the head of the small Vatican city state but the head of a one billion strong religion with incredible wealth and old money.

In the UN, the Pope greeted the dignitaries not the greeting that you would normally expect, in the name of Jesus, but in his own name ie under his own standing. It is a reflection of John 5:39, where the Jews accepted religious leaders who came proclaiming a new kind of teaching on their own standing, yet when Jesus come in the name of the Father, they rejected Him. Both the liberals and the conservatives applauded the Pope so did both warring houses in the US.

Matt 23:9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

We come in the name of Jesus, if our standing is biblical and not based on religion and her laws which was the context of John 5 where the Jews came to Jesus not believing that He was from God, for they were of the religious law, they were of Moses. When Love Singapore wore white, they came not in the name of Jesus, but in the name of religion where morality is your own good works. Jesus came from the Father in heaven. Who do you come in the name of?

Here we have the largest super mega church in the world, a massive symbol of power structures with its inequality yet receives little protests from liberal christians. The liberal outfit Huffington post even tried to tried to blame the visit by antigay divorsee Kim davis as a trap. If there was any trap, it would have been done by the Catholic’s church own Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, the Apostolic Nuncio to the US. Gays are a threat because it breaks down the church structure which helps it retain power and control for the last 1500 years. Vigano was vehemently anti gay.

Why did the Pope said he came on his own standing, hence not from God nor from Jesus. Because if he had come in the name of Jesus, hence in God’s name, he would have been rejected by many at the UN who neither believed in Jesus nor the God of Israel.

Ironically, the Pope was telling the truth. The institutionalised church and her ways are very different from Jesus and His disciples. They were allowed to marry, they abhor worshiping of religious idols including the saints of old, and they have a flat hierarchy rather than the church hierarchical. Salvation was not found in a religious system, but in the person of Jesus Christ and no intermediaries. There is only one Father in heaven and not the priests whom some have confessed to. The church and religion placed herself as the middleman but Jesus had no children for by His death, He came into each of our hearts. The church hierarchical is not from the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

The liberals loved the Pope because he continually talked about the poor and the weak. Sojourners even consider this the Gospel totally discarding salvation in Jesus Christ. When the Pope spoke about poverty and wars in the UN, there is actually no solution. The Western liberals raged about justice arising from the Arab spring uprising in the middle east against truly evil dictators. What they ignored was the extreme religious motivation which turned a great opportunity into desolation and far worst suffering with millions of refugees. All we have left is black cladded terrorist enforcing strict religious laws. This is hell on earth rather than a heavenly kindom.

The Pope met Kim Davis, the adulterer. Instead of Jesus reminding the adulterer that He was the living water, the Pope asked for the woman to remain strong, ie to remain on the road of being the ultimate hypocrite of denying marriage to two same sex couple whilst having the privelege to divorce 4 times. All that was in the secret whilst Jesus met the adulterer of Samaria in open day light instead of the dark night.

It was not a co-incidental visit as lamely suggested by Huffington post, for Kim Davis had been specifically invited by the Catholic church and had to travel to New York. Davis is not a Catholic nor had any association with the Pope. So she got the visit because she is an anti gay crusader.

When we come in the name of Jesus Christ, we begin to see ourselves very differently. Do we represent Christ or the religious pharisees? Do we kill or cause harm rather than give life through the living waters? Is our aggenda to bring a new kindom on earth overthrowing the earthly hierachal structures or do we look forward to a new heaven above?. Is power, wealth and authority more important than righteousness, grace and mercy?

Jesus did not meet Zaccheus the tax collector per say, but it was the repentant Zaccheus who invited Jesus into his house. It was grace that changed Zaccheus and not harsh judgement. Jesus showed mercy. The church have crucified gays for two thousand years. It is the church who needs to be forgiven.

As the Pope now flies back to Rome, we need reminding that he is the head of a super mega church of 1000 million strong. The liberals rage about the mega charismatic churches, and the protestant conservatives rage about gays, yet the Catholic church comes against most of the fundamental teaching of the conservative christian protestant churches without so much as a whisper of complaint from organizations such as Love Singapore and the National Council of Churches. There is a great hypocrisy in the protestant conservative churches.

The Pope is the Jesuit Pope. The Jesuits are the secret army of the Catholic church. Their hands are filled with blood from the reformation as part of the  Counter Reformation which saved the Catholic church. Ironically, It is the conservative and charismatic leaders that have made their way to Rome to pay homage to the black Pope including Kenneth Copeland, Ulf Ekman and Benny Hinn. There is a call from heaven to stay away from this earthly kingdom. Rev 18:4.  Is this the new counter reformation?

The Pope’s meeting with Kim Davies shows the Pope no better than anyone of us, mortal sinners needing salvation through Jesus Christ. All the mega churches combined together in Singapore would only be 0.01% of the size of the Catholic Church. It has conquered the whole world yet so afraid of gays and gay marriage because the rainbow of God’s grace and mercy through Jesus Christ makes everyone equal before God.

By whose name do you come today? By your own name, by the name of your religious affliliations? Or do you come in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the lord of lords above all human kingdoms and heavenly deities.
