FCBC fears judgement on Singapore because of gays

…this truth resounded strong and loud in my heart:  “For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us." (Isaiah 33:22 NKJV) This truth is the basis of the Kingdom of God on earth. This means our faith should not be confined within the walls of the Church, but spread outwards throughout our nation so that Kingdom values are manifested in our communities. The Lord is not just the Lord of the church, He is the Lord of the jury of our nation for He is our Judge. The Lord is not just the Lord of the Christian community, He is also the Lord of the legislature of our Parliament for His is our Lawgiver. FCBC, it is time for us to ARISE and SHINE for "The Lord is our King; He will save us." “ APOSTLE LAWRENCE KHONG: DON'T STAY SILENT

For the last month, FCBC and Love Singapore have been talking about shared moral values and gays being anti-family. This hides the true aggenda, the "truth" claimed by FCBC that God will judge Singapore because gays have transgressed against God's laws.

The criticism on FAQ’s on HPB online was just an excuse to enter the fray. They had to hide the church credentials in writing to the minister on 377a, because the real truth/reason was based on the desire to transform or view Singapore as a defacto christian nation could not be accepted by a secular public.

The truth, the real reason for their anti-gay predisposition is a fear of God’s judgement if we are not fully compliant to the biblical laws as a nation even though a non Christian nation. The reasoning was based on ancient Israel under God's laws.

With reference to Isa 33:22 highlighted by Khong, the reason is that:-

·         FCBC believes that Singapore is the Kingdom of God here on earth just like ancient Israel.

·         God will judge Singapore just as ancient Israel for the abominations – in Singapore’s case – gays being the moral abomination

·         Since God is the judge, the law giver to ancient Israel, He must also be Lord over Singapore and His laws prevail. Homosexuality is said to be against God’s laws.

Hence FCBC/Love Singapore are the modern-day pharisees and law keepers of Singapore doing us a "favour" by adjourning God’s judgement by subjugating the gay sinners.

This contradicts biblical Christianity:-

·         Ancient Israel sinned against God by worshiping other gods and not because of homosexuality.

·         The mention of homosexual acts in the bible as abomination was in relation to the worship of satanic faiths where anal sex was practiced.

Therefore, FCBC/Love Singapore focus on gays, a minority of 5%, is plain animosity. In addition, the dire sins of the remaining 95% of straight population are conveniently overlooked:-

·         Other faiths in their idol worship are not mentioned

·         The pagan practise of killing babies, ie abortions continues on without protest.

·         Anti-family influences such as widespread adultery, divorces by straight people are quietly ignored

If God had judged Singapore on the same basis as ancient Israel, it would have been much earlier perhaps a giant Tsunami. But God is more merciful than our legalistic religion.

God’s law refers to the primary law of Gen 20:3,4 that we shall have no other gods before God. The Kingdom values have the basis in the Ten Commandments which is primarily based on being faithful to the God of Israel. The judgement of God was therefore not due to the deficiency in “kingdom values” per say, but idol satanic worship. Morality is defined by the God we worshipped.

In John 8: 58 Jesus said to the Jews, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Thus, Jesus equated Himself as equal with God the Father, the God of Israel. Therefore, the Pharisees, wanted to stone Jesus. Hence, our values, our righteousness comes when we worship Jesus in grace and truth. If we are like the Pharisees, we would condemn the innocent.

Why do many religions want to stone Gays? The answer is in the rainbow flag, the sign of Grace Perhaps they are vary of God’s truth, and grace in Jesus Christ.

Too many gay children have died and their blood calls for justice. The blood of the fallen cries out today and it cannot be quenched. Judgement is coming on the church for too many gays have died, and it is about time the pink elephant that has been ignored for so long takes centre stage.

There is so much harm done. Justice and righteousness calls out. The innocent suffers and cries out before God.

Ironically, judgement is coming on Singapore not as a nation but on the church. It is not by God but our law based Christianity has made us self righteous where sin abounds in the church of Jesus Christ.

The bell tolls. It will drown out soon the loud protests by Pastor Khong against gays. And, the focus will be back on the church and her immorality and unrighteousness.
