(John 14:6 NKJV) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

(John 14:7 NKJV) "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him."

One of Gospels most central tennat of faith is that Jesus is the embodiment of God almighty, and it is through believing in Him that one is saved. The truth once so mysterious concerning the face of God and the different expressions in various religions to reach God was made clear in the person of Jesus Christ. He is the Light and the narrow way which men must go through. There are many ways which alledged to be a facet of truth, but Jesus was unflinching in declaring that He is God personified, and the narrow way to salvation and union with God. He was so unambiguous and direct claiming He was Alpha and Omega, in other words, the God from eternity to eternity that the Jews planned and ultimately killed Him. If what Jesus claimed was not true, then the religious pharisees would be correct in accusing Jesus of blashemy. But they were wrong, and the religious conservatives put their very own saviour to death. We have made the Gospel so founded on our self righteousness in following the law that when Jesus comes again, would we recognized Him? of would we crucify Him again!. For the religious authorities, Jesus was just a scapegoat for the fear that the Romans may come against the Jews, just as today Gays are a scapegoat to trigger the church to unite against perceived liberal treats. By crucitying Gays, the innocent victim our our political and religious expediency we have indeed crucify Christ again. Is this the term "False Gospel" of Homosexuality used by the militant right?

It is therefore not suprising that the Christian Post commenting on the final resolution of GAFCON in Jerusalem, highlited the creation of a new fellowship against what it terms the "False Gospel" of Homosexuality. Therefore, we have proclaimed in public a Gospel centered on a very small minority of the population which have the innate desire for same sex relationships just as straight people have the innate desire to have relationships with the opposite sex. The sins of unnatural sex committed by straight people in the bible for the sake of religious idol worship of fertility Gods by the majority of the population becomes attributed and blamed onto the small Gay community which means that by definition Gays are in sin. Our zealous preoccupation against gays whilst millions dying of poverty, hunger, diseases and war in deep dark Africa where much of the militant christian right movement found their strong followings shows our utter disdain for humanity and for people above and beyond our fixed and narrow dogma.

John was writting in the Ad 90s, a time where the Greek Philosophies were challenging the church with heresies much the same as many of the religious thought today where God is not absolute and that there are many ways to heaven and it depends on what is right for you and me. The apostle John knew that it was not persecution that would destroy all the good work that the apostles gave their lives and work for, but when the very reason and foundation of their faith and the audacity of the claim by Jesus that He is God is challenged. On this point alone, all would be at lost, if not defended. This was the battle of waterloo, the decisive challenge to Christianity which John stood up and declare the centrality of Christ as God, Lord and Saviour with no buts. John knew where to stand but the church today instead of tackling the issue directly, have used gays as a scapegoat to create a stand against the "liberals". In truth, GAFCON was never really about gays but it was about a war between the liberals and conservatives over the last 30 years. We have used the ways of the World, the ungodly ways of the majority and abused and mistreated the gay minority giving us no moral authority in our Gospel message. Our actions contrasted with jesus who was the God of the outcats as compared to us who side with the religious self righteous legalistic party.

In the Christian Post Singapore article entitled - "An Effectively Christian Nation" it was claimed that even at 14.6 percent, the Christian population, the Christian state can be called "Christian" because it is united especially putting gay people in prisons. When the figures are further analysed, only 10% are evangelical Christians and the other 5% Catholics which do not hold most of the same beliefs as the Christians. Therefore, to Christians having a 10% population being Christian and with the ability to galvanized the support of the majority against the very small gay minority means we have arrived there and become an "an effectively Christian nation". In summary, our Gospel is considered a success not when a vast majority of the nation becomes Christians, but when we stand in unity against the Gay community. Our Gospel has therefore been perverted from a Christ centered Gospel of Salvation based on God's grace, to a Law centered Gospel based on our self righteouness seen in the light of gays who we claim break God's laws, not that we ever follow the Jewish ceremonies or laws ourselves.

With the evangelicals seemingly occupied with painting gays are the greatest threat to the Gospel, and to the moral well being of the nation, it seems that Gays are just a red herring of distraction to the destruction of the foundation of biblical Christianity. Whilst we go about our campaign to explain why 377A or criminalization of gays needed to be maintained, our message that Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE Life seemingly lost yet no word of concern has been raised. If Jesus is not THE way which He claimes, then the Church have existed for no good reason and our faith is groundless and we are to be pitied. Indeed, the latest the latest Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life survey reflect that the Christians Conservatives may have won the battle against gays but have lost the war in proclaiming the Gospel. If other religions are ways to God, why proclaim the Gospel, why did Jesus need to die anyway. In an expected but stunning revelation, the Pew Forum reported that that 57 percent of Evangelicals believed that many religions can lead to eternal life, Over 79 percent of all Catholics, believed likewise.

(1 Pet 5:8-10 NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

It is said that wih the resurrection of Christ, the roaring lion can only roar but cannot bite and for us to be Christ focused instead. However, it would be naive to expect this to happen or that as humans we are perfect and not be distracted by our inherent human weaknesses and sins. In fact, the apostle Peter called the New Testament church to be sober ie to be awares of the workings of the principalities which will seek to destroy the church. Why, because it is a very effective and deadly attack which we must be awares and take steps to counter. In what appears to be a direct attack with the goal of taking our eyes off the core tennats of the Chrstian faith concerning God's amazing grace in Christ, we are called to resist and to stand firm in our Christian faith. It is a call to stand firm that the message of the Gospel is the same yesterday, today, and tommorow, that Jesus is the way. Instead of defending Jesus, we actually became the religious hypocrites who persecuted gays. We are opened and exposed to being devoured both morally and based on God's laws (which we have so insisted on at the mega churches in Expo without realising that we will be judged on the same basis). .

Whilst the Chirstian Community continues their public lynching of the Gay community, after 1000 years, the Gays just would not dissapear despite the death penalty supported by the church since the 16th century which was only last century revised. Hitler thought he was doing God a favor for getting rid of Gays and Jews. Therefore, you have a church increasingly focused and intensifying their efforts to subdue the gay community whilst the principalities come from behind and undermined the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. The Church appears drunk, and unawares to the schemes and are being eaten up, whilst the Gay community after being oppressed for so long is taking up strong actions against the church. When the church comes to its senses, it may be too late having to face strong battles on many fronts with all moral and spiritual grounds lost in the sin done against the gay community. In the evangelical community, we often believed that the principalities are lions that roar only but without teeth because Jesus has overcome the power of darkness. We forgotten that 1 peter was written more than 30 years after Jesus death and resurrection because with the passing of time, the message, the faith and the Jesus movement begin to slide opening up all avenues for the roaring lion to take advantages of..

The weakness of the modern day church is its self righteousness and it is obvious that the pincipalities use this weakness to entice the church to focus on Gays to condemn them based on the Law, as if to to return to the Jewish laws and negate the Grace of God. God has created Gay beautifully and we will find ourselves coming against God's creation and trying to change what God has set in place.
