Ps 91:3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

The Christians in Singapore (in Love Singapore and FCBC) have gathered as one united family beneath Mt. Sinai to proclaim that they are all able to follow the bible law of marriage between one man and one woman as legal and binding for all the peoples in the land. The five thousand strong signed the pledge to defend Singapore from gays.

Surely, this is a secular nation, where our religious laws could not be inisisted on others .

This is a slippery slope of religious activism. Surely, we are not a religious country ruled by mullahs of faith as in Iran where gays are killed en-mass in the name of a state sponsored faith.

The bible text of Gen 1, and 2, quoted by Pastor Khong inisisting that the image of God in mankind is only completely fullfiled in the act of marriage is not scriptural.

In Gen 1:27 God created mankind in His own image, both male and female. It became clearer in Gen 2:7 that God created man first, and out of man came women. Hence, Adam already contained the fullness of the image of God in that we are Spiritual beings just as God is.

Their antagonism against gays is a trap by Satan to undermine the bible and the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

They are standing on Mt Sinai, the mountain of the law asking God to stop gay marriages between two gay man, when even under law, God didn't stop the patriachs of the bible of having more than one woman:-

• Moses have two vives, Zipporah and a Ethiopian Woman.

• Abraham have one wife (Sarah) and one mistress (Hagar)

• David had seven wives (Ahinoam, Abigail, Maachah, Haggith, Abital, Eglah, and  Bathsheba).

Surely it is also foolish to attempt to blow away the gay marriage clouds coming all the way across the Pacific Ocean from Califronia USA where Proposition 8 against gay marriages looks likely to be repealed by the US Supreme Court.

They are standing against gays promoting their lifestyle and redefining marriage. However, being gay needs no promotion - you are born straight or gay. Gay men are not stealing their wives. But why the religious angst to judge and throw stones at the affairs 5% of the population who are gay, when 95% of the straight population have made a mess out of marriage with:-

More than 10,000 babies being aborted in Singapore each year.

Rampant and public red light districts in Geylang, little India, and Chiantown.

Adultery, promiscuity, and sex before marriage

There sin in the church, in his own family. We can try to scrub out the sin of a heterosexual "single mother" committing sin of sex before marriage resulting in a child born in wedlock! but it is by grace not by law. The yeast of the Pharisee is their hypocrisy.

Where is global movement of LGBT aggenda mentioned by Pastor Khong influencing the seven mountains of power? but ain't this the Christian agenda to dominate the government, business, the media, arts,  etc.  The liberals have  of a dozen intellectual elites in the rainbow clouds but no mega church of 5,000.

By pledging at Mt Sinai, the mountain of the law, we are bringing the church back from Mt. Zion, the mountain of grace. When the church is under law, it will be judged by the law in how we judged others.

Hence, since we have used the strictest interpretation of the bible law against gays to insist on a two year jail sentences, we too will be judged in the court of the common law. Can we be 100% sinless? we too will receive our two year sentences.

The strong man of the church must be bound before gays are accepted in Singapore. The storms are coming not of gay rights but judgement is coming on the church as a whole in Singapore in the public court of law where all their sins will be revealed. Pastor Khong should take care of his own house first!

Why care so much about gay rights, when there is one billion strong in China for the Gospel to outreach, and another billion in India.

Nations are coming to our shores to work! and yet we are so sidetracked by gay rights that our focus is not on seizing the opportune time for the Gospel to be preached to the nations residing here in Singapore. Isin't this a distraction from Satan against the bible and the Gospel message?

(Amos 5:23,24 NKJV) Take away from Me the noise of your songs, For I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream

Can we stop the rivers of justice and righteousness following down from the mountain top of God, from Mt Zion, to open the gates of the Gospel to the gay community.

But the grace of God is flowing out of Mt Zion to the gay tribe and the river is getting bigger and bigger from a small stream, to a rushing river.

Pastor Khong and a united church family in Singapore will not be able to stand against the river of righteousness! Indeed, the river will overflow them, and they will be carried along the river out to the sea.

Satan has set a trap for them to fall and be laughed at by the entire nation. Pastor Khong said that he will fight against gay rights with his life, and his legacy is actually at stake. For he is a great pastor and evangelist for God.

The message to Pastor Khong and the Christian church is not get out of the river blocking the way of the Lord, but instead to show love, grace and mercy. Go to the safety of the riverside lest we too be drawn by the strong currents and be drowned.  

It has taken so long, but justice is coming soon. As the river of God flows down river as a great water fall, you will see a rainbow when the light of God shines through the rushing water.

I would imagine, many of us will be crying and rejoicing because we hear the sounds of the gushing river not too far away.

This is my thought of the week: AS ONE for the FAMILY! ... Momentum 2013 was certainly a defining moment for Singapore, with more than 5,000 pastors, leaders and members of churches gathered for one resolve: To defend marriage and family in Singapore to be between a male as father, a female as mother with their children. We are fully convinced the Biblical foundation for the family is founded upon the marriage of a man and a woman.

 This is not established from some isolated verses of Scripture, but from the overarching purposes of God demonstrated in the creation of man and woman till the culmination of human life. Genesis chapters 1 and 2 tells us that neither male nor female alone can fully manifest the image of God. God's image is only truly expressed through the union between a man and a woman in marriage as God instituted in the beginning.

The Bible begins with a marriage in the Garden of Eden and ends with the marriage of the Lamb – between Christ and the Church at the end of the world. This Marriage is the ultimate marriage, and can only be illustrated through the mystical union between a man and a woman in a lifelong monogamous relationship. This piece of truth was brought to us at Momentum 2013 by Dr Jim Garlow of Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego. He was also one of the key leaders who rallied the pastors of California together in defence of Proposition 8, which states that only a marriage between a man and a woman will be valid or recognised in California.

The Holy Spirit moved powerfully in our hearts, opening our eyes to Satan's interference with this very foundational understanding of the family and his threat to destroy marriage and family that will shatter the image of God for all humanity.

Everyone at the conference signed a pledge to defend and protect marriage and the family, joining our hearts in resistance to any attempt to redefine marriage in Singapore. The Church of Jesus Christ in Singapore is arising AS ONE!

However, we are fighting a global movement of the LGBT agenda that has grown in influence politically influencing government, media, MNC, Education etc exerting its power to change laws that in growing number of countries that takes away religious freedom, parental freedom etc. I have list and list of example in which churches, corporations, welfare organisations are being compelled not only to accept LGBT but to celebrate them. Singapore has been announcement as their key target of focus now. Anyone who disagree are called "hate mongers".

What I am doing is not just a result of feeling uncomfortable. I work with homosexuals all the time. I have lots of time with them working together. But the push to normalize their lifestyle and redefining marriage is what I will resist with my life.

BTW, my daughter is a single mother. For many years my wife and I are caregiver of my grandson. So I know what I am talking about. I am afraid that it may be you who are ill informed of this global movement. We need to rise up to defend the family as one man, one woman and children. We must do this for our next generation.
