(Mat 6:22 NKJV) "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

(Mat 6:23 NKJV) "But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

The news of Catholic Priests again molesting young deaf boys in USA, and the revelations of a massive cover up of the church in Ireland for the past three decades, reminds us of their hypocrisy against gays. The mutual affection and love between gays, are considered far more sinful and to be condemned publically rather than the sexual abuse of children by priests to be hidden at whatever costs denying the victims due justice. The Criminal priests were protected by the Cardinals and Bishops but the cries of the children ignored.

We are reminded of the strong support by the Catholic church of Nazi Germany in their persecution of Jews and Gays sending thousands to their death at the concentration camps. The Catholic Church has taken up a modern crusade against gays to take away basic rights including marriage such as in California. The Catholic church with its global organization, wealth and political support is as great a threat than the Christian Right. Whilst the Christians in Singapore may consider gays the epitome of sin based of doubtful scripture, they are reluctant to condemn the Catholic church of the very basic and grave sins of the worshiping man made gods such as the Pope, Mary, and the Saints and where Mary becomes the co-mediator to God alongside Jesus Christ. After all, the Catholic Church globally is 30,000 times bigger than our largest mega church, City Harvest.

With a congregation of 1 billion, coupled with incredible power and wealth, they are a law onto their own, and have been able to hide and deny justice from those sexually abused under their care. The problem was that the extent of the abuses was far too great to contain. They have violated the dignity of far too many young souls and had impacted their faith in God.

(Mat 18:6 NKJV) "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

(Mat 18:7 NKJV) "Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!

In Ireland, the Catholic Church has been involved in the systematic cover up and denial of widespread sexual abuse by priests according to the Murphy Report (by the Irish Government) for the last 30 years. The volume of evidence in the 720 page report stunned many. The report details the cases of 46 priests guilty of abuse as a representative sample of 102 priests within its remit.

a) One priest admitted abusing more than 100 children.

b) Another said he had committed abuse every two weeks for more than 25 years.

c) A total 320 people complained of child sexual abuse between 1975 and 2004, which is only a very tip of a large iceberg.

d) Since May 2004, another 130 complaints against priests operating in the Dublin archdiocese had been made.

e) Many of the accused priests in the Dublin Archdiocese are still alive. They are being financially supported by the Church and some are living in parishes without restrictions.

The cover up appears to be at the highest level of the Vatican who has been able to do so for so long because of their incredible power and wealth. The rumors of Pope Benedict’s direct involvement cover-up of the endemic cases of sexual abuse of minors in the church for the past three decades has been given factual support with

a) Revelations that the Pope personally instructed Wisconsin bishops in 1998 to shut down a church trial for an elderly priest who allegedly molested 200 deaf boys.

b) The Pope’s brother Monsignor Georg Ratzinger was implicated for not doing enough to prevent the child molestation and abuse in the Choir of Regensburg which he directed from 1964 to 1994.

c) The Pope as the Archbishop of Munich between 1977 and 1981 provided a priest accused of child sex abuse church accommodations in his diocese so the priest could undergo therapy. Nearly every day since the end of January 2010, people have come forward to report cases of sexual abuse by Catholic priests in the nation. News reports put the number of cases at about 170.

d) Revelations that as Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, then in charge of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, issued a letter to all the Catholic Bishops reminding them that strict penalties would apply to anyone who divulged details of allegations made against priests including excommunication.

Why is the Catholic Church against gays? It is because gays can celebrate their sexuality openly and be true to their self, but the priests have to practice celibacy and carry out their sexual activities in hiding. They are envious of gays who can be true to themselves whilst they have to deny their sexuality and be celibate (at least outwardly). Just like the ex-gay movement such as Exodus, Choices, R-L-M attempts to deny their innate sexuality, it cannot last long. It is just an outward delusion of a white wash tombs when finally revealed would be hiding all sorts of dead skeletons within.

The Catholics who were the main supporters of proposition 8 in California to deny gay marriage were claiming a moral mandate to do so. However, the sexual abuse cases in America, Ireland, and now in Germany is so grave because they were to protect and to care for these children in their orphanages and schools rather than to use their position of religious and parental authority as opportunity to abuse the weak ones and then to conjure up a deliberate scheme of cover up at the threat of excommunication for those who dare utter a word to reveal the truth.

The Catholic Church were so vicious against gays claiming that gays will destroy the morality of society and destroy marriage, not because gays were any more sinful because of their sexual orientation, but because the church was suppressing their own sinful conscience. They were willing to excommunicate anyone who will tell on them. By proclaiming how sinful gays and sexually immoral were, they were soothing and hiding their own conscience and grave sins against weak defenseless children. They were essentially placing their own hideous sins on the forehead of the poor gay gentle lamb to be slaughtered. Blaming gays as sinners just because they loved each other and wanted to get married were part of the denial of their own sins.

The revelation of the skeletons in the Catholic Church is a reminder to Christians that no one can escape the moral laws of God, even the biggest church in the world. The false witness and rhetoric by the Christian Churches in Singapore in the 377A debate, the Aware Saga, and the continual insistence that gays have an agenda to destroy the family and marriage and therefore to be put in jail, will come back as a flood. Justice and liberty will roll down from the mountain of God. Our hypocrisy and immorality will be revealed in public for all to see, just as we make the private affairs of same sex love between gays a public affair.
